Since years the BDE is deprecated and now the time has come and in Delphi XE7 the Borland Database Engine was removed from the Component list. It's highly recommended to upgrade to some newer Database Components like FireDAC, but some abandoned Third-party libraries still requires the BDE to get compiled.
